I was planning on using today’s Friday post to talk about one-sheets—what they are, how to write them, and how they can be a great substitute for a full-on pitch deck.

But, in the wake of all the strike updates, I’m rushing out to the NYC picket line this morning for what is hopefully (!!) the last walk of the strike.

So, instead, I’m pivoting to a post I’ve been dying to share with you all!

If you’ve been a long-time follower of me on TikTok, you may know that I started a series called, “If I Wrote It,” where I watch popular movies and TV shows, and break down what I would have done differently if I had written the script.

That idea is actually what spawned the title of this Substack, as in Julia Has Notes on specific content!
